Is that a glimmer of sun out there? A warmer wind touching your skin? Spring makes you want to peel off the layers, do a few warm-up lunges and get out there for an adventure! We thought we’d share some of the coolest global adventures that caught our eye:

Helicopter over an Active Volcano in Hawaii

Feel the radiating heat from an active volcano as you soar over the volcanic landscape of Hawaii on a helicopter ride of your life, with our friends over at Blue Hawaiian Helicopters! Peer into the depths of the craters, take in the spill of the lava and swoop over lush green vegetation and tropical waterfalls. Cool off afterwards with Rainbow Shave Ice, Obama style. The Shave Ice at Waiola Shave Ice comes highly recommended.

Fatbiking in Alaska

The great open road, breath-taking scenery and quite cool to boot, what’s not to love about Fatbiking….in Alaska? Follow the trail from Glen Alps: it will feel like you’re pedalling through a Snowglobe! You can rent a bike from Trek for between $40 and $80.

Visit the Sloth Sanctuary on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast and get up close and personal with rescued sloths. A behind the scenes tour will see you visiting incubator sloth babies and the “Slothpital”, where injured sloths recover.
