From bespoke cocktails in prison cells to dreamy VR landscapes, there’s something for everyone in the world of immersive events.

You know we love an immersive experience here at Four Corners.  Activations that place guests in a fully immersed world. they flood all the senses with curated elements which support your brand’s story. On a daily basis you can find us shovelling sand to create an indoor beach or building 50 foot LED screens bring imagery to life. These experiential events are a fantastic way to promote engagement and will leave a lasting impression long after the event ends.

Done well, these events captivate participants by engaging multiple senses, creating a more profound and memorable experience. This heightened engagement ensures that attendees are more involved and invested in the event.

We’re in good company, there are lots of fantastic immersive experiences in the UK you can try right now. Here are a few of our favourites, each with elements that could be used to great effect in your next brand immersion event.

Alcotraz – 6 UK Locations

Whilst we are not sure we can forgive the name, Alcotraz is worth a mention for the inventive (slightly baffling) idea of pairing alcohol in a prison setting to hilarious effect. Orange boiler suits are donned, alcohol smuggled in, and tailored cocktails are created by ‘inmates’ under the watchful eye of prison guards.  The glamorisation of grimy cells and mugshot posing is certainly not for everyone, but hats off, they have certainly created a unique experience. It is a testament to the combining of two unlikely themes to memorable effect!

Punch Drunk – Viola’s Room, London

Established in 2000, the production company Punchdrunk is regarded as one of the first to create contemporary immersive, theatrical experiences. They demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, putting the audience center stage. These often-masked experiences regularly collect awards and accolades. Their current London show, Viola’s Room is experienced barefoot and wearing headphones. An unseen narrator (Helena Bonham Carter) guides you through a labyrinth installation revealing a story of innocence lost and obsession unleased. The Financial Times describes it as ‘like falling through a disturbing dream’. These guys are masters of using back-to-basics techniques to unforgettable effect.

Cabaret – Kit Kat Club London

Join Emcee and friends for a night of bawdy yet sophisticated fun in the West End. From the moment you are ushered into the depths of the club, and a sticker is placed over your phone’s camera lens to the final louche dance number, you are transported to the Berlin war-time Kit Kat club. If you can stretch to a stage-side table, do so to feel the full force of the energetic and sometimes visceral performance. The Leads, Emcee and Sally Bowles have been played by several stars since the show opened in 2021. Each performer brings their own style to the parts meaning that it’s a show that bears repeat watching. Nostalgia and decadence creates an intimate, otherworldly feeling that will stay with you long after the show has finished.

Immersive Game Box – Various Locations UK and Internationally

Our pick for a rainy-day family trip or after work bonding with colleagues. These venues can also accommodate larger all-day corporate events. Not just for seasoned gamers, over 1 million players of all ages worldwide have taken these epic adventures. Each Gamebox is fully private and features projection mapping, touch screens, position tracking, and surround sound. This creates a dynamic experience for 2-6 people. You can choose from themes you know and love like Ghostbusters or something new like Escape AI – a fully immersive escape room. Tech-enhanced social game play is a perfect team bonding experience, improving staff engagement.

Beyond Van Gogh – Various Locations, UK & International

This dreamy immersive experience will have you stepping into a 360 degree, 1000sqm light projection of some of Van Gogh’s most recognised pieces, brought to life with dynamic elements. VR headsets are used to further, spectacular effect and guests are then encouraged to create their own work in the studio. This moving exhibition gives much inspiration for the world of brand events. It shows education at its most effective as you are taught about the artist, experiencing his work by blending technology seamlessly into art.

Experiential events transform how we engage with entertainment, education, and marketing by placing us at the heart of the experience. We at Four Corners love these sensory-rich journeys. Get in touch to see how we can make your next Immersive event unforgettable.
